Le Mans city welcomes journalists from Russia
Medifrance Solution with the support of The French Medicine and Medical Tourism Development Association, as well as the authorities of the city of Le Mans organized a press tour for leading Russian media that specialize in health, beauty, travel and lifestyle.
The main purpose of the press tour was to demonstrate the representatives of the Russian mass media the high-level French healthcare system. Indeed, France doesn’t yet have the reputation of a country where you go get quality medical care. Also, an important point was to increase people’s appreciation of the lesser-known French towns. The idea behind that was to show that quality care and latest technologies at an affordable price can be obtained not only in the capital or on the French Riviera as many people believe.
During the three days, the guests were shown the city of Le Mans, visited the old town Cité Plantagenêt, L’Épau Abbey and the circuit where the 24 Hours of Le Mans is run. But the highlight of the tour was visiting two medical institutions: Pôle Santé Sud clinic and Jean Bernard oncology center. The guests were able to visit the operating units and talk to the leading medical experts.
It seemed that nothing could impress people who had visited all parts of the world and seen a lot. However, the high-profile guests were pleasantly surprised by what they saw; they appreciated the beauty of Le Mans and the authentic French life.
But most of all they were amazed by the medical institutions. Take as an instance the tandem of Pôle Santé Sud clinic and Tertre Rouge mother & child center that together have more than 500-bed capacity and have access to all the latest technologies. Jean Bernard oncology center did not leave them indifferent too despite the particular atmosphere of this serious institution.
